You can stay in Turkey maximum 90 days within 180 days with a visa.

If you do not have the right for visa exemption, you can enter to Turkey with applying a visa from the Turkish Foreign Representative Office in any of third countries.

You need to apply to the Turkish Foreign Representatives in your country and apply for an annotated visa (visa with special conditions) application.

After the expiring of the residence permit, visa or visa exemption cannot be used without leaving.

This is a situation when a visa application is made to our foreign representatives and forwarded to the our General Directorate and a visa is not given without Internal Affairs Ministry's approval. Therefore it is considered to be a preliminary visa.

You need to use your visa, which is obtained from the consulate, within 6 months.

E-visa is valid in travels to Turkey for tourist or business purposes. E-visa application is made from the www.evisa.gov.tr website.

Foreigners shall be refused to enter into Turkey whose passport or travel document expires sixty days prior to the expiry date of the visa, visa exemption or the residence permit.

Although it depends on the type of residence permit requested, a residence permit application can be made with a border visa.

It is given maximum for 15 days.

Your situation is evaluated at the border gate you will exit. Pursuant to Article 54 of the Law, a removal decision shall be issued for the ones who overstayed their visa or the visa exemption period for more than ten days or, whose visas are cancelled. Visa applications are made to the consulate in the country where the foreigner has the citizenship or is legally located. Applications can also be made electronically. Visa applications are resulted within ninety days at the latest. This period starts from the completion of the requested documents by the foreigner.

Foreigners shall be refused to enter into Turkey, who would refuse to pay receivables, originating from overstaying the duration of visa or a previous residence permit duration.

Countries that are exempted from residence permit fees and countries exempted from a single entry visa fee are determined by the Ministry in accordance with the reciprocity principle. A single entry visa fee is not taken as a result of having paid visa fees from foreign representatives by entering with a special type of visa or / or stamp visa application for foreigners entering Turkey. However, the foreigners entering our country without paying visa fees within the scope of visa exemption between the two countries and since they do not pay visa fees, a single entry visa fee is taken during the residence permit applications.
